Public Hearing on Issues in MS for Individuals with Autism

 

The Mississippi Autism Advisory Committee (MAAC) will host a public hearing on current issues in Mississippi for individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorders, and invites everyone affected by or interested in Autism to attend the hearing.

 

The Mississippi Autism Advisory Committee is requesting input and guidance from individuals with Autism and their family members, as well as teachers and professionals who work with individuals with Autism to use to guide recommendations to lawmakers, service providers and policy makers about the needs of the community.

 

The event will be held Tuesday, January 22, 2013 from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m. at the Trent Lott Center on the Southern Miss Hattiesburg campus.
